At the heart of the Pikes Peak Rangerettes is a dedicated and passionate leadership team committed to our mission. Together, they guide, inspire, and ensure that our team’s vision becomes a reality. Get to know the faces behind the reins:

Director of the Pikes Peak Rangerettes

Chris Herman

I have been a member of the Pikes Peak Range Riders since 2015 and have served as the Director of the Rangerettes since 2021. I’m the proud father of two daughters, Sydney and Hailey. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. My goal is to enable each Rangerette to become the best horseman, leader, community member, and friend as they can be through guidance and support.

Mike McKiernan

I have a great interest in the Rangerettes and their mission. The Rangerettes are an important piece of the Range Rider mission through their promotion of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo as well as developing young people in the Western Lifestyle. I am excited to be a partner with the Director, Drill Master, the Parents and all of the Rangerettes. My wife, Irma and I have 5 children and 5 grandchildren

I have enjoyed supporting the Pikes Peak Rangerettes and helping them grow to their fullest potential. My goal for the team is to help them improve their horsemanship, teamwork and leadership abilities. I’m excited to continue to work with the Rangerettes and be apart of this team!

I am a prior Rangerette and was on the team for four years. I’m very proud to support these girls as they develop their skills and abilities in not only horsemanship but in teamwork. I’m honored to be apart of this team and support the Rangerette mission.

Makena Norton

I serve as one of the Rangerettes Team Managers and am passionate about supporting the team and helping it succeed both in and out of the arena. I was a member of the Rangerettes in 2022 and proudly represented the western community as the 2022 El Paso County Fair Queen and the 2023–2024 Girl of the West. With a lifelong love for horses and the western way of life, I enjoy staying involved in programs that celebrate rodeo and horsemanship. My favorite part about Rangerettes is the strong sense of community and the lifelong connections that come from being part of the team.

2026 Season Officers

At the Pikes Peak Rangerettes, we believe in the power of collaboration, teamwork, and recognizing exceptional leadership from within. Selected from the larger Rangerette riders team as team captains, our peer-nominated officers embody these principles, as each member has been nominated and chosen by their fellow riders for their outstanding commitment, dedication, and passion for our mission. Officers must also complete a comprehensive riding exam assessed by the Director and Drillmaster in order to be considered.

As the 2026 Captain, I’m proud to continue my six-year journey with the Rangerettes and carry on our team’s rich legacy. Being the 18-year-old daughter of our amazing Director, I’ve been immersed in the passion and dedication that define this team. Riding has always been a part of my life, but the Rangerettes have made it even more meaningful. My favorite part of being a Rangerette is the sisterhood we share—the bond we’ve built goes beyond riding, creating lasting memories and lifelong friendships.

Hey there! I am 18 years old, this is my fourth year as a Rangerette, and I’m so excited to serve as the 2026 Co-Captain and Social Media Chair. I’m especially honored to do it alongside my mustang and best friend, Rio. Being a Rangerette has given me so many incredible opportunities to grow as both a leader and a teammate. My favorite part has been the lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories we’ve created together. I’m so grateful for this experience and can’t wait for an amazing season ahead!

I was a Pikes Peak Rangerette for 3 years serving as the co-captain my last year. My goal is to help shape and develop these young ladies into respectable horse women. I believe Rangerettes is a steppingstone for many things in life. I can’t wait to help guide these girls through this part!

This is my second year as a Pikes Peak Rangerette! I am 16 years old and I have been riding horses for 5 years. My favorite thing about being a Rangerette is being a part of a group of girls that shares my same passion.

Hello, I’m Anna, I have been on the team for going on 3 years now. This is such an amazing group of girls that really showed me you can have sisters that are not blood related. I have made so many friends and so many lifelong friendships that I would have never gotten otherwise being on the team. This team means so much to me and has provided me with opportunities I never thought I would have gotten.

This will be my second year on the team, I have been riding for 9 years now. I am 15 years old. And my favorite part about the team is all the different friendships you make.

Hi! I am 15 years old, this will be my second year on the team. I have been riding horses for 10 years. My favorite thing about being a Rangerette is being a role model to young girls and being able to make memories and friends for life.

I’m Arin, and this is my second year on the team. I am 15, I’ve been riding for 10 years now. My favorite part of being on the team is feeling like all the girls are a big family.

This is my first year as a Pikes Peak Rangerette! I am 14 years old and I have been riding horses for 4 years. My favorite thing about being a Rangerette is being a part of a group of girls that shares my same passion. I learn so much riding with them!

My name is Amelia Tilden, I am 17 years old and have been a Rangerette for 4 of those years. I have been riding for 10 years and Rangerettes has done nothing short of grow my passion for riding.

Hey, my name is Khushi Jivan I ride a 5 year old mustang I’ve named Rio! I am 15 years old and this is my first season as an official Pikes Peak Rangerette but I’ve been working with the team for about a year!

I am 16 years old and this will be my second year on the Pikes Peak Rangerettes. I have been riding for 8 years, and what I love most about being a Rangerette is sharing my passion of horses with the community. I love being able to be a role model for the younger generation.

Hi! I am 14 years old and have been riding for 3 years. This is my first year on the Rangerettes. My favorite part is how we get to have fun on horses and make new friends at the same time

Hi, my name is Abi and I have been on the team for 3 seasons, I have been riding for 12 years, and I am 19 years old. My favorite part of being a Pikes Peak Rangerette is being blessed with the opportunity to promote the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, which in turn supports our military and their families!

Hey, I’m Ella! I’m a 14 year old military brat and this will be my first year on the team! I started riding through the remount foundation about 8 years ago! And my favorite part of the team is the amazing opportunities!

I’m 12 years old and I’ve been riding my horse Splash for the last 5 years. This is my first year as a Pikes Peak Rangerette and I’m so excited to perform in the rodeos this season.

My favorite part about being a Rangerette is that it has helped me develop a deeper appreciation of teamwork, dedication, and the joy of representing our community on horseback! I can’t wait to make more memories this year!

Hi my name is Emily Grint. I’ve been on the team for 2 years. I am 13 years old. My favorite thing about Rangerettes is the sister hood,and getting to be somone little kids look up to. I have three horses.

Hi! My name is Olivia White and my horse is Rio. I’m 16 years old and this is my third season on the Rangerettes! My favorite thing about being a Rangerette is the amazing friends that I have made and the real world experiences that will set me up for success later in life!

I’m 15 years old, and this is my third year on the Pikes Peak Rangerettes team. One of my favorite parts about being on the team is the strong bond we share and the opportunity to perform together while making so many great memories. I started riding my horse Splash when I was 8 years old, and I feel so lucky to still be riding and performing with her today. I’m very excited to perform at the rodeos this season!

My name is Alivia Adams, and I am 14 years old. I have been riding horses my entire life, and being a pikes peak rangerette has been something I have dreamed of becoming since I was a little girl. With this being my first year on the team, I am most excited to make life long memories and grow as a rider with a group of girls who share the same passion as I do. My favorite thing about the Rangerettes is how fun and amazing each girl is individually creating a team filled with dedication and support.

My name is Telia I am 12 years old and this is my first year as a Pikes Peak Rangerette. I have been riding for 6 years and it is my passion. My favorite thing about being with the Rangerettes is that we all get to bond and create so many memories together.

Brynlee Dickson

My name is Brynlee Dickson, I’m a 14 years old and this is my first year on the team. My favorite thing about Rangerettes is learning how to become a better horse-woman as I’m making amazing friends throughout the year. I have been fallowing the Rangerette journey since I was a little girl, my sister then became one and I fell in love with the idea.
